Question about Icy dragons sword - Guild Wars Forums

I was wondering if the IDS could be upgraded by a Sword Hilt, since it already has a 15^50 prefix mod, could it be moded again with the prefix
and is there such thing as a perfect IDS with the following stats:

15-22 (req. 9 Swordsmanship)
Damage +15% (while Health is above 50%)
+30Hp
"20^20 sundering" (since this is a prefix"hilt", will it over write the 15^50 mod?)

All IDS come with the Cold damage, 15^50, and are q9. The only part you can modify is the pommel.

The Icy-mod is the prefix and not the 15^50.

And like G_MAGNUS said... you can only change the Sword Pommel. It will always be Icy and always be 15^50.

I don't know if you chose sundering as just a generic pommel or you were planning to use it, but if the latter case is correct, then please don't. Sundering sucks on swords.

oh why does sundering suck on swords?..sry im kinda new at this.
oh and if i try to upgrade the sword with a 20^20 sundering, it wont allow me to upgrade it right? since the "icy" is fixed, but strange, i see some ppl selling" WTS perf IDS with 20^20 sundering 80k" , lol is this true?

They might be selling something else and didn't consider IDS is commonly used for the Icy Dragon Sword because the hilt cannot be replaced.

Icy Dragon Sword (always req 9, 15^50), Fiery Dragon Sword, Icy Blade Axe and Fiery Blade Axe.
Since the Prefix is part of the "nature" of these weapons it cannot be changed,- either live with the Icy/Fiery or chose another weapon.
